REASONS I ♥ DK:
#14. Little children all wear the exact same snow suit in varying colors. Unitard snow suits. With pointy hoods. Think the little brother in A Christmas Story who can't put his arms down.

#15. Another thing I love about child rearing in Denmark? Instead of strollers all families use prams. Like in an English victorian fairy tale. Like the one that Peter Pan ran away from his mummy in.
#16. Last thing about kids, I swear. People leave their baby prams outside of stores on the street. With. babies. in. them. In other words, when they go to the grocery store, they just let their babies sit out in their prams on the sidewalks. They stay nice and warm because each pram has it's own pillows and down comforter. See above abandonment for reference.
#17. Danish commercials are ridiculous. Ri-dic-u-lous. My favorite are commercials with people wearing naked suits (presumably nudists? No one has explained this to me still...)
#18. While we're talking about TV, there are also a crazy amount of Danish reality shows. For a country that only has about five million people, Denmark has really corrnered the reality market. If I were to do the math, I would probably find out every single person in Denmark has been in a reality show, even though they don't want to admit it.
#19. Denmark is a country of 5 million people. That's LESS than the total population of Los Angeles. Makes me wonder if we could isolate LA and turn into it's own country and let it deal with itself. They'd probably make a Kardashian Qeen or something and we'd get a stamp in our passports every time we went there.
#20. University is free. Ok, this is true is just about every European country. And not only is it FREE but then the government gives you money to live off of. I'm not a comi or socialist but being able to go to college for free would be freaking sweet. That said.....
#21. The highest income bracket in Denmark is taxed something around 70% of their income. SEVENTY PERCENT. This is only something I ♥ about DK because it is not me paying that insane about in taxes. But I suppose that's how you can afford to send anyone who qualifies to University, for free.
That's is for now folks! Tune in next time for more reasons to love the great Kingdom of Denmark!
